Ever since Brickstuff created these 4mm round LED circuit boards in 2014 and called them Pico LED lights, they have become a global standard for hobby lighting. You’ll see many lights that look like their Pico LEDs, but these are the originals, invented in Minnesota, USA.

​Because of their small size, you can use Pico LEDs just about anywhere. They’re thin and small enough to fit underneath LEGO® bricks and plates with wires that are thin and flexible, yet they're also strong enough to handle bricks or plates being placed on top of them. The 0.8mm connecting plugs are small enough to pass between LEGO® stud holes (or through any hole of at least 3mm diameter).

In May 2023, the Pico LEDs joined the Brickstuff EasyLight™ System of components. This is the updated packaging of Pico LEDs which includes four Cool White Pico LED lights with 30cm (12in) cables. This pack is just the four Pico LEDs; if you don’t already have a power source, you’ll need to pick up one of the Power Packs or Mini Power Packs (these packs also include the necessary adapter boards to connect the lights).

Cool white LED lights are typically used for industrial, sci-fi, and space models.
